The evidence speaks for itself

One of the internal evidences that the Bible is the word of God is the prophecies it has foretold and have been fulfilled. As said; by Elmer Townsend in the article the arguments that the Bible is the word of God. “The enemies of Scripture usually do not attack the fact of fulfilled prophecy.” “They usually try to explain it away” (Townsend, p. 5).

We have come to a place in society were science is the new measure of the truth. The new mindset is one of skepticism of miracles and the supernatural. The same men who value their sense of reason and the scientific process are blinded by the truth in front of them. In any scientific experiment for example, a drug study, if the numbers came out like the numbers of fulfilled prophesies it would be considered a scientific marvel. The disbelievers go so far as to try to rewrite history and change times and meanings of words to discredit the Bible (Townsend, p.5). Despite evidence to conclude otherwise examples the Dead Sea scrolls or Septuagint (Townsend, p. 5).

In any other scientific analysis or experiment this would be considered unethical or bad science and would be discredited. Yet they call themselves men of reason. What are the odds of one prophecy coming to pass let alone thousands written over hundreds of years by many different men from different occupations, cultures, and economic classes? I would not want to bet the farm on it and either would any mathematician. It takes just as much belief for me to believe in the word of God as it does for a scientist to believe he came from an ape. The origin of life has not been explained scientifically, how we went from inorganic to organic. Yet most scientists believe this. So when the false God of our time science tries to explain God and his word away .I say, you choose how you want to believe. You just exchange one belief system for another and I have more evidence for mine.

What are the odds alone that men from different cultures, occupations and over multiple years would be able to predict just one of the following prophesies let alone thousands more and be correct. “The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem” ( Michah 5:12). “The Messiah would come from the tribe of Judah” (Genesis 49:10), “The Messiah would be a descendant of King David” (Jeremiah 23:5). You just can’t explain the word of God away not even with science. To address the conspiracy theory brought up by some non believers, I think the evidence speaks for itself.
