Wanted time by Grace Allard Morse

Time to have my close friends in to drink a cup of tea
 Time to read the book of verse my sister sent to me
Time to short my linens out
and stack them in neat rows
Time to look my scapebook o er
and work with rhyme and prose
Time to bake some muffins
for the boy who mows our lawn
at mornings early dawn
Time to cut pink roses
for a nieghbor living near
Time to plan the garden
I have wanted for a year
Time to breakfast leisurely
and scan the paper through
Time just to do the things
I really want to do

I love this poem and it reminds me we all have limited time so why not do something you love?
