The Bible states “for as a man think in his soul so is he
(Proverbs, 23:7). Could it be possible a man’s thoughts could create his life. Science
is showing that emotions are communicated in our body language, and those feelings
are contagious to individual who are in our sphere of influence (De Gelder,
2006). Studies indicate that 93% of all
communication occurs through body language (De Gelder, 2006). Research
demonstrates our body language is a direct reflection of our true inner
thoughts and is difficult to mask with words (De Gelder, 2006). Neurobiologists
assert that emotions are a reflex form of thinking, which leads to action (De
Gelder, 2006). The actions we take in our life are what create our experiences.
If a great deal of our life is controlled by reflexes, it could be argued we
have little control over our thoughts. The only way for a man to have control
over his inner thought life is to focus on things greater then himself “He who
rules his own sprit, mind, will, emotion is greater than he who takes a city” (Proverbs,
15:32).
