Worthless worry

This is condensed reading from the book having a Mary heart in a Martha world  by Joanna Weaver. In the Bible it says 350 times to fear not. One interesting statistic states that we can do nothing about 70 percent of our worries.
40% are things that will never happen
30% are about the past which can't be changed
12% are about criticism by others , mostly untrue
10% are about health which gets worse with stress
8% are about real problems that can be solved
Worry is a waste of time that only make the bad worse.
Worry causes physical and emotional damage to the body. Dr Charles Mayo stated he has never seen a man dye from over work but, I have seen men die from doubt.
Chronic worry can be a sign of spirtual immaturity.  " The seed that fell amoung thorns stands for those who hear , but as they go on their way they are choked by lifes worries, riches, pleasures luke 8:14
Grasping for spirtual breath, worry-bound , thorny-ground Christians may survive but they never thrive.
Jesus command in Mark against worry. " Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy ( anxious, worried) about your life" (Mathew 6:25)
Worry hurts are relationship with the Lord because we fix our eyes on  the situation instead of the Savior.
