In the crooks and crannies of life God's Greatness can be most apparent
Flower in the crannied wall
FLOWER in the crannied wall,
By Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809-1892)
I often think about all the struggles and imperfections in my life. If it were not for these storms, I would have never been able to see the miracles that I have. In my struggles, I have come to know God. My grandmother once said; many people see the full sink of dishes but, fail to understand that those dishes mean that your family has a full belly. I love Tennyson poem for this reason because, it makes me look deeper at the struggles of my life to see God at work.
FLOWER in the crannied wall,
I pluck you out of the crannies;-
Hold you here, root and all, in my hand,
Little flower-but if I could understand
What you are, root and all, and all in all,
I should know what God and man is.
By Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809-1892)
