James 1:2-3 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

That doesn't seem natural right?  To have joy - PURE joy as we face trials?  How do we do this?  Joy is from the Lord, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  It is His fruit that should pour out from us by HIS power, not our own.
Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trusts in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
I don't know what you are going through, what struggles you are facing, what anxiety has crept into your life.  I do know that the One, True, Holy God loves you so much He gave Himself up for you and that He desires us to trust Him completely - to not worry, to lean on Him, to give Him our burdens and allow His power through His Spirit to fill us with joy. So, whatever trial we are facing (he promises we will face them), whatever struggle or anxiety that exists in our lives (verse after verse speaks to this, so we know He expects them in our lives), let's lay it down at His feet through prayer (presenting our requests to Him - even though He already knows what we need) and trust Him completely (we may even need to ask Him to help our lack of faith like the father did in Mark 9:23-25), allowing the transforming power of the Holy Spirit to fill us with unspeakable joy.  "When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul."  Psalm 94:19
Praying for you to be filled with His joy.
