Staying in God's will

Rev 21:4. Movies love to build the suspense in a storyline until the climatic end. For us as God's children, we are not left in suspense about the end. There are many wonderful assurances that the Lord has already given us. Psalm 1:2-3. Sometimes God’s will is not the easiest to understand. Sometimes I do feel like I have a better plan! Of course, I realize that is foolishness. What I find encouraging about this passage is that even if I do not understand His will, as I long as I abide in his laws, I have the promise that whatever I do will not fail! Every failure in my life can be traced to this one point – I decided to do things my way instead of God’s way. I praise God for his assurance that he will always bless me as long as I stay in his will.
